For those fearing or living with the pancreatic cancer storm, any port will do.
I realize commercial companies like pharma and biotech cannot spend time on non-IP associated products like this, but darn, I wish someone would. There is enough evidence around the world that natural products are less toxic and as effective, if not more, than some synthetic small molecules and manipulated biologics that have been approved by the FDA. Saying that, pharma and biotech have made significant progress in our understanding of disease and introduced some effective products against some forms of cancer, but sadly, IMHO, most of the products are not very good.
One thing I have learned in 30+ years in this wonderful industry is that it is not (thankfully) the end-all for good health and preventive maintenance. Good nutrition (organic, non-GMO, clean), exercise, education and well thought through supplementation should be the bedrock of our health care system, not the knee-jerk reaction of spending all our resources on trying to fix people who should have been educated much earlier in their lives. Pharma and biotech are doing what they are supposed to do, making money for their investors. However, teaching people how to stay healthy and away from the doctor's office is what the natural products' industry should be doing, but too many people are not listening, especially the very people who should be teaching this: the medical community.
